Collection created for Hoopers Club, a basketball community platform that connects players, fans and enthusiasts through products, contents and experiences.
The goal of the “Sac Royalty” collection was to honor the journey of two Portuguese basketball players and to remember the link between Portugal and the city of Sacramento.
It all began in 1998, when the Sacramento Monarchs welcomed Ticha Penicheiro, who would later become one of the biggest WNBA players and WNBA Hall of Famer.
Years later, in 2021, Neemias Queta would be selected by the Sacramento Kings at the 39th position of the NBA Draft, becoming the first Portuguese to play in the NBA.
